Bees swallow flower nectar, carry it in a special stomach, then bring it back up into the honeycomb. So yes, honey is technically regurgitated. But here's the wild part: bees add enzymes that make honey so acidic and so dry inside that bacteria can't survive in it. It becomes, essentially, a no-trespassing zone for germs.
